Association Profile

The Hong Kong Chinese Insurance Association ("HKCIA") was developed from the Insurance Industry Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association and is a non-profit organization established under the guidance of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association. The association was jointly initiated by eight Chinese insurance institutions in Hong Kong, namely China Taiping Insurance Group (HK) Company Limited, China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited, The People's Insurance Company of China (Hong Kong) Limited, China Reinsurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited, China Pacific Insurance Co., (H.K.) Ltd., China Ping An Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited, Bank of China Group Insurance Company Limited, and CMB Wing Lung Insurance Co Ltd. HKCIA was officially registered in Hong Kong on 31 August 2023. The member companies cover the majority of the Chinese life insurance, non-life insurance, reinsurance, captive, insurance brokerage, and insurance asset management companies in Hong Kong.
